Algorand Wallet

Hello Everyone New to crypto. Research led me to purchase a few hundred Algo. Can someone verify if I am doing this correctly? 1) I purchased 800 Algo from Coinbase. I learned how to transfer the Algo from Coinbase to an Algorand Wallet. (https://wallet.myalgo.com/) 2) From what I read, now that my Algos are in my Algorand Wallet, they are staked and are accruing rewards slowly over time, so that maybe in a few years if I might have a few extra Algos just for staking in my Algorand Wallet. Is this correct? If so, do I need to do anything else or just leave it in the wallet? Thanks in advance for your responses.
