While browsing the news of Bitcoin taking down satoshi's white paper per Craig Wright's request, I found that the lead developer of Bitcoin who was responsible for taking down the paper was Wladimir van der Laan. This site mentions that Wladimir's salary is paid by MIT:
MIT has a Digital Currency Initiative that Wladimir, Cory Fields, AND Silvio Micali are all a part of:
This leads me to believe that a few of the core Bitcoin developers may also be a part of Algorand. I thought this was an interesting connection of dots. Any thoughts or speculation?
