I'm very happy that this proposal is about to happen. The Dash network really needs to be one of the leading entities when it comes to tax/legal/political discussions about cryptocurrencies. This is not a field that can be left to banks and their accounting firms. We already lost ground in that kind of discussion to 'experts' since the last ATH season. The legal development about crypto is key imho. I'm aware that, unfortunately, not everyone is happy to have a discussion with governments or to influence political decisions.
I think it's very important to exert influence on lawmakers. This is what Dash competitors (banks) do and we should use the same set of weaponry in all key regions.
Germany+Austria is a good place to set the overall direction in the EU. And sometimes, what the EU does gets more or less implemented worldwide (example: GDPR rules).
