I am one of the many victims of bitcoin scam. At first, the investment company seemed to be really professional and authentic. I found many favorable reviews about their performance and delivered results. So, I decided to invest with them and try to achieve success in the online trading sphere. Soon, I realized that the software was swallowing all my investments. IQ option is nothing more than a dangerous and fraudulent platform. I invested over $140,000 and couldn't withdraw my money, months passed and still nothing. So, I reached out to a Certified Binary Options Recovery Expert www bitcoinbinaryrecovery com to help me recover my funds, I have been able to recover $120,000 and the remaining $20,000 is in progress. I really can't tell how happy I am. You can also send them a direct email at Bitcoinretrieval2018 gmail com [link] [comments]

Does it take time for ledger live to show correct balance after receiving ETC? The block explorer shows correct balance after receiving right away but ledger live still doesn't show that after half hour now. Restarted ledger live didn't help either. Does anyone know why? Thanks. [link] [comments]

I saw the news yesterday that ETC reduced their DAG size to 2.48GB. I was wondering if there's any consideration to reduce this to say 1.5GB, so 2GB GPU owners can mine as well. Currently these people (myself included) are all mining smaller shitcoins as there's not a big MC coin that allows for those smaller power GPUs to mine. I think ultimately it will benefit ETC the more new people join. Network effect & such. Additionally there's no argument against it, 1.5GB doesn't make it less secure than 2.48GB, on the contrary, it will make it more secure since more people will be securing the network. At 1.5GB DAG size you also don't see more efficient ASICs than the ones that already exist. [link] [comments]

Hello all, recently I've gotten interested in trying to make a mining rig. Would be trying to buy up at least 6 470,570,480,580. Now from browsing this and the ethereum sub for a bit, I've come to the conclusion that normal ethereum won't be profitable with gpus after their switch, and I believe classic is, or is going to be, no longer supported on nice hash right? Now nice hash is the only platform I have experience with, so what are the alternatives? I guess I'm looking for any and all general information you all would give to a beginner who hasn't made any commitments yet. I should also state, my soul goal of doing this would be to mine , and trade to and hold a bitcoin balance, so if that is not advisable, please say so. At any rate. Thank you for reading and please let me know your thoughts, sorry if there are lots of posts like this, I haven't gone too in depth in this sub yet. [link] [comments]

Hi, sorry for asking a noob question here but am I correct to assumed that mining ETC is faster than ETH using the same gpu (say GTX 1070) with similar hashrate? Say my GTX 1070 had 30 Mh/s for both ETH and ETC then it would take me faster to mine 0.01 ETC than it would for 0.01ETH? Right? [link] [comments]

Ethereum ClassicEthereum Classic is an open, decentralized, and permissionless public blockchain, that aims to fulfill the original promise of Ethereum, as a platform where smart contracts are free from third-party interference. ETC prioritizes trust-minimization, network security, and integrity. All network upgrades are non-contentious with the aim to fix critical issues or to add value with newly proposed features; never to create new tokens, or to bail out flawed smart contracts and their interest groups.
