Hello all.. just over a year ago I decided I wanted to buy a NEO name. I like NEO and I like names, and I worked my way through the complicated process. Some will argue its easy, but for someone used to one-click amazon buys it seemed hard. Then today I heard NEO was doing good so I went back to check how it all was. Of course I found that all the names I had bought (about 7) had expired. I followed the complicated instructions for buying them again, and it all got difficult. After a while I decided the NNS system was buggy. One page shows my cGAS balance as 7, the next complains I can't bid because the balance is 0. The transfer option asks for an address. After an hour of research I gave up. Its a VERY poor user experience. Everyone here knows its a poor experience and cannot possibly achieve mainstream adoption, but is it buggy?
I see we are going head to head with Cosmos. How the mighty have fallen. Any idea on what makes this competition real?
I don't remember what wallet I used back when I created this one. But I have a saved wallet backup/restore and i'm confused about what all this stuff means. With most other crypto wallets, there's just a seed and nothing else needed to restore.
the name of the file is something like this 5f6d7e6e-689e-5fcb-be08-9a53ca668fc5
I remember i backup wallet on the web and inside the file there are these fields
Does anyone know how I can restore my wallet based on this info? I remember before when i backup wallet it just generated this file and I was able to use this file to send and recieve
Thanks for any help you can provide
Hey guys, I have been around in this space for a few years now. I’ve been predominantly watching from the sidelines but one thing I noticed and confuses me is why the huge price gap between NEO & GAS? If gas is needed would you not assume one price would follow the other?
Trying to wrap my head around this or is GAS simply undervalued at this point?
Looked around but could not find references. On GitHub there is an old thread mentioning code needing to be fix, and as workaround increase the network transaction fee.
There is no way to add any fee in Guarda.
Would anybody please shed a light. Would be a tremendous help. Unfortunately invested good dollar in GAS but now I am stuck.
Cheers! And Thank y'alls
maybe some of you will recognize me nickname as I'm here around from time to time. I once invested in 08/2017, right in time to not suffer a huge loss until now, and since I'm around in this type of threads from time to time my knowledge about blockchain is actually good. I'm pretty sure I belong to the top 0,5% worldwide when it comes to understand blockchain and its purposes while there is no chance I could contribute even one thing to the NEO eco system, I'm not a computer expert.
Well so much about me.
I read Hongfei Da's medium post today and to honest it could have be also written in Chinese. I must admit that I have no clue anymore what this is all about.
'State Root Function to support interoperability', 'cutting-edge interoperability protocol', 'protocol layer' and so on and so forth. Maybe a small problem might be that I'm no native speaker but lets be serious: There is no chance that even 1 percent of worlds population will ever understand that.
So whats the plan when it comes to achieve full adoption? Who needs to understand that whole stuff? I really hope that once everything runs it will be completely unnecessary to really dig in deep into all of that because I really doubt even 0,1 percent of worlds population is even cognitive able to do so.
