I staked 1000 Tezos at 6% Baking Reward on my Ledger over a Month ago and the payout was only 0.58 XTZ after 5 weeks? What's going on?
Again tonight there was an instance of a nominally price-related post being vanished by an overzealous mod. That the post garnered a bunch of comments and dozens of upvotes in the short time it was visible should come as no surprise, since the price action is of interest to many members here. Especially at an exciting time like this.
It's absurd that we aren't allowed to discuss the value of XTZ, something that concerns every XTZ holder, yet it's considered fair game for nearly identical posts about staking rewards and ICO wallet recovery to clutter up the sub again and again. It clearly shows that "cutting down on spam" is not the real reason for the moratorium on price discussion.
But the lawsuit is over; we can all stop pretending that we don't want to make a profit on Tezos. In any event, it's bizarre to talk about staking rewards without being able to mention—or if we don't care about—the value of those rewards. Moreover, given its direct bearing on the size of the Tezos Foundation's war chest (and therefore the available runway for the entire ecosystem), we should be free to discuss the price of XTZ the way members of /r/zec and other subs discuss the price of their favored crypto assets.
To the extent spam is a concern, I'm fully in favor of confining price discussion to a single weekly thread, if that's what it takes. A weekly general discussion thread would be a benefit to the sub in any case.
So what do you all say? Who's in favor of rethinking the existing content restrictions?
TL;DR: The arguments for banning price discussion in any form are unsound, and we should change these restrictive content rules by popular consent.

tezos noob here, however after a little searching, I couldn't find a solution.
So I have a question for experienced Tezos stakers:
Many thanks for your help!

I have been trying to delegate my coins to a baker and have tried multiple times to add a delegate( the left side menu) on galleon. The action completes and then gets put on pending, and whenever I check a few hours later the pending disappears and I assume that my transaction is canceled because it disappears from the transaction menu. However, the delegate menu on the right side still works, as my delegate is updated, and their address shows up in the top blue menu. What am I doing wrong? I have been able to update my delegate address multiple times but have not been able to allow my coins to be baked.

Hello- I started a Kraken account just for the TEZOS.
I ordered a Ledger Nano X today.
While I wait for the nano x to arrive. Is it ok that i stake my coins on kraken?
This is my first time doing anything with crypto. I bought Bitcoin on cashapp last night. Transferred it to kraken account. Used the bitcoin to buy ETH and then I used the ETH to buy XTZ. Am i doing it right?
My main question is am i on the right track? What do I need to know that you wished you knew starting out. My goal is to buy and hold and BTC and XTZ and slowly mass my positions. Thank you for the help
