A few years ago I decided to play with crypto. Ended up with some TRX. I've stopped actively following the crypto markets and just have this TRX chilling somewhere (HODLing, I guess). Last thing I remember was the mainnet launch and migrating the TRX to the mainnet. I have my address and can find them searching tronscan, but feel like I'm supposed to do something with them either for safe longterm storage or...I dunno.
Also, it appeared like there were other (almost virtually worthless) tokens at the address that I didn't buy. The account value shows the value all in TRX, but also negligible dollar amounts for these other tokens. Do you receive a "dividend" type payment for owning TRX?
What is voting about? Where can I find some good information to read and catch myself up on all of this?
Sorry for my ignorance, and thanks for all the help.

TRONIX is a MainNet token based on the TRON Protocol issued by TRON Foundation, known as TRX. TRX is the basic unit of accounts on the TRON blockchain. The value of all other tokens derives from that of TRON. TRX is also a natural medium currency for all TRC-based tokens.
